Our Mission

Alpine Squeeze! is a German - American festival band who's mission is to consistently deliver quality performances to satisfy all age groups at affordable rates for any size venue and budget. 

Band Profile                                         

In its fifth year and the fastest growing festival band in the New York, Hudson Valley area, Alpine Squeeze! keeps the traditions alive with spirited polka's and enchanting waltzes.  Latin, pop, country and jazz are also in the mix!  Each band member brings their musical experience to the stage resulting in an affordable, quality performance for any occasion.   Led by Eric Baal, Alpine Squeeze! strives to perfect the balance of the traditional instruments with modern technology, bringing happiness to many through their lively performances.   

In addition to performing locally in the New York, tri-state area, past performances include Las Vegas, Boston, Newport, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Florida, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and Canada.  

As a duo, trio, or full size band, Alpine Squeeze! can add additional band members as needed, no matter how small or large your party or event. 

Alpine Squeeze! has produced two CD's - Tropical Squeeze! (Released 6/15/2006) and How About a Little Squeeze! (Released 8/15/2003 - Eric Baal, Solo).

History

After playing solo for many years at local establishments in the New York, tri-state area, Eric Baal (band leader) arrived at The Black Forest Mill Restaurant in Highland Mills, NY.   During this time, in 2003, Eric produced his first CD entitled "How About A Little Squeeze." 

While at the Black Forest Mill, he discovered the talents of Cherie Colarusso, who worked at the restaurant as a bartender and waitress.  She asked Eric if he knew "Lady in Red," and challenged him to perform it with her.   The performance launched a musical partnership.  Soon they began performing together to the delight of many patrons.   

In 2005, Eric decided to branch out to other venues and officially launched the Alpine Squeeze band. In 2006, Alpine Squeeze partnered with a local NY travel agency and launched the "Tropical Squeeze" tour for a 10 day cruise to the Bahamas.  In commemoration of the event, Eric wrote the song "Tropical Squeeze" which is the title track of their latest album with the same name.

Since then, Alpine Squeeze has had the good fortune of acquiring some of the most talented musicians around.   The musicians that make up Alpine Squeeze today are without a doubt best in class!    As a result, the band delivers on it's mission to provide quality musical performances at affordable rates.   Here is a list of past venues.
